Twelve demands for a reservation system that is fair, time-bound, transparent, and reaches the people it was meant to help. Three of these — a National Commission for General Category, rolling back the UGC 2026 regulations, and moving from caste-based to economic-based reservation — are the campaign's leading priorities right now; see them summarized on the home page.
National Commission for General Category — Establish a National Commission for General Category, giving it the same constitutional status and rights as the SC/ST/OBC Commissions, including provisions for prevention of and protection against atrocities on General Category citizens.
सामान्य वर्ग के लिए राष्ट्रीय आयोग — सामान्य वर्ग के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय आयोग की स्थापना की जाए, जिसे SC/ST/OBC आयोगों के समान संवैधानिक दर्जा और अधिकार दिए जाएं, तथा सामान्य वर्ग के नागरिकों पर अत्याचार की रोकथाम व सुरक्षा के प्रावधान भी शामिल हों।

White Paper on the Current Status and Benefits of Reservation — Publish a detailed, public white paper analyzing the benefits accrued so far — how many castes were added and when and why, how many castes have been uplifted, what the original vision and aim were, and how reservation has contributed to social and economic development — followed by open public debate on the findings.
आरक्षण की वर्तमान स्थिति व लाभों पर श्वेत पत्र — अब तक मिले लाभों का विस्तृत सार्वजनिक श्वेत पत्र प्रकाशित किया जाए — कितनी जातियां कब और क्यों जोड़ी गईं, कितनी जातियों का उत्थान हुआ, मूल दृष्टिकोण व उद्देश्य क्या था, और आरक्षण ने सामाजिक-आर्थिक विकास में कैसे योगदान दिया है — तथा निष्कर्षों पर खुली सार्वजनिक बहस हो।
Periodic Review of Reservation — Review the reservation system every 10 years and publish the findings publicly for transparency.

Sunset Clause for Reservation — Every reservation provision must carry a sunset clause, continuing only if data and evidence clearly prove the need.

SC/ST Act Reforms — Remove the draconian provisions added in the 2018 amendment (such as no preliminary enquiry and no bail); introduce jail terms and penalties for fake cases; withhold monetary compensation until a case is proven in court; and include intra-category cases (SC vs SC, SC vs ST) within the Act's scope.
